Who Am I?

“I am what I am and that’s all that I am” -Popeye the Sailor Man

Often times I find it very hard to describe myself to people, especially when it involves describing myself to people that I don’t know. The fact is, I’m me. That’s it.

Sure, there’s a hell of a lot that encompasses exactly who I am, all the finite details that make me the me that is me… but taking the time to explain all of my little specifics and eccentricities, all of my ins and outs, ups and downs, the “who’s, what’s, where’s, when’s and why’s” quite simply does not fit into my personal repertoire.

So instead, I invite you to take some time to peruse my blog site. I believe it is through your perilous adventuring of the various contents laid out before you that you may come to know who I am, to certain degrees. And while this may not have been what you were looking for in regards to an explanation of my person, I assure you that there’s enough contained in these few pages to allow you to come to a sufficient conclusion.

I will, however, tell you this. Life should be lived – it is meant to be that way. And not monotonously…. No matter what it is that you do, no matter your situation or standpoint or circumstance, you still have the opportunity to follow your dreams and do whatever it is that you long to do. As long as you’re alive, you can live your life however you want, and you should, as long as it genuinely makes you happy.

“And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” – Abraham Lincoln

“As we know from life, decisions are far more difficult to make than actions are to take. We often put off doing something for as long as possible, then as we finally make the decision and step into the action, we’re surprised by its relative ease. We’re left to wonder why we dreaded doing it until we realize that most of life’s actions are within our reach, but decisions take willpower.” – Robert McKee
